Viper's Shootout: Mini Shooting Game
A fast-paced, Valorant-inspired 2D shooting game developed in Java using JavaFX, featuring custom-designed graphics and fluid game mechanics.
Project Overview
Viper's Shootout is an action-packed, 2D arcade shooter built from scratch in Java. The game takes visual and mechanical inspiration from the character 'Viper' from Riot Games' shooter VALORANT.
Players control the agent, dodging incoming obstacles and shooting down targets. Built using the JavaFX graphic framework, it handles keyboard inputs, collision detection, game state loops (start, active, game over), and custom particle effects.
All visual elements—including character sprites, background assets, and buttons—were custom-designed in Adobe Photoshop and Canva to ensure a cohesive, high-quality, game-ready aesthetic.
